Q. Can you tell us something about yourself?

A. My name is Natasha. I am working as an Air Hostess with Jet Airways.

Q. Can you tell us something about your pet?

A. My pet is 10 years old and her name is Bebbo. She is a Labrador and I had brought her home when she was a few months old. Over the years, I have created a strong bond with her.

Q. What was it like when you first met her?

A. She is a naughty girl. I remember an incident when she was irritated and she scratched my face. I couldn’t figure out the reason for her action but later when I switched on the AC she slept like a baby and I realized that my pet loves sleeping in the AC and can’t tolerate the heat.

Q. What has been the biggest challenge of being a pet parent?

A. The biggest challenge is seeing her falling sick because she had a tumour and she got cured but it looks like the tumour is developing again.

Q. What has been the rewarding part of being a pet parent?

A. The most rewarding part is that pets are very positive creatures. In today’s world, it is very hard to find people who understand you but your pet will not only understand you but they will stand by you no matter what happens.

Q. What has been your learning experience of being a pet parent?

A. I have learnt that you have both happy as well as sad times with your pet. Sooner or later like us even our pets will grow old and they would require you more than ever, so you should never give up on them no matter what happens.

Q. Can you give us a message for new/aspiring pet parent?

A. If you want a pet then you should promise yourself that no matter what happens you will never give up. At first, you might not be able to understand your pet but, with time you will start understanding them. You will also realize that your pet also has an emotional connect.
