Q. Can you tell us something about yourself?

A. I am Farooz and I live in Andheri-West.


Q. Can you tell us something about your pet?

A. My pet’s name is Yuki. She is a Shih Tzu. I had brought her when she was one and a half months old and she has been with us since then. 


Q. What was it like when you first saw her?

A. The breeder whom we had visited had three ShihTzus and they were so cute that we wanted to buy all of them but my small house restricted me to buy only one. After getting her, I got a feeling as if I was getting a new born child in the house.


Q. What has been the biggest challenge of being a pet parent?

A. My pet hates to be alone at home so all my family member try to reach home as early as possible. Whenever we are home we feel that she has missed us and she is the happiest when she meets us


Q. What has been the rewarding part of being a pet parent?

A. After having her in the house, my daughters and my wife have become more caring towards each other. We all have become happier than before. 


Q. What has been your learning experience of being a pet parent?

A. I have learned the importance of forgiving, as world is very small. In today’s world where everyone is busy in their own life, she has united my family and because of her my family sits together to enjoy special moments with each other.


Q. Can you give us a message for new / aspiring pet parent?

A. Getting a pet is a start but treating them as a part of your family will help you get the best out of your pet. Again, no matter what happens don’t abandon your pet instead find a way to cope with the problem as it will help you to transform into a new person.
