Q1. Can u tell us something about yourself?

  1. My name is Neha and I am 24 years old. I live in Kandivali and there are 4 members in my family. I am more of a dog person.

Q2. Can u tell us something about your pet?

A.            My pet’s name is Junior and he is 3 year old Labrador. He loves dog food but he loves eggs more.

Q3. What was it like when u first saw him?

A.            I was visiting a pet shop near my home, as I had decided to get a pet. That was the first time I saw him, a 1 month old small puppy who was playing with other puppies. When our eyes met I came to know which puppy I wanted.

Q4. What was the biggest challenge of being a pet parent?

A.            The biggest challenge is taking them to visit their vet at regular intervals for their routine check-up as I go out to work and he stays alone at home. Again, except me there is no one who can take care of him.

Q5. What has been the rewarding part of being a pet parent?

A.            Junior is a very playful dog and he likes to play with everyone so no one in the house gets bored with him. He is also very moody so at times, when I reach home late he will stay awake till I reach home,  and will have dinner with me. It’s like he takes care of me rather than me taking care of him.

Q6. What has been your learning experience of being a pet parent?

A.            Having a pet has made me understand that pets are beautiful creatures and he likes me for who I am. He understands me completely and I know he is always there when I need someone with whom I can spend a wonderful evening.

Q7. Can u give us a message for new / aspiring pet parent?

  1. A.            If you are thinking of having a pet then you should get one. You should identify what your pet likes and you can use it as a tool to appreciate them while training them.
